On this episode of Devil's Trap podcast.
Speaker A:It's our season finale of season 12.
Speaker A:And how many characters can you kill in one episode?
Speaker B:And what do we have to look forward to next season?
Speaker B:Apocalypse World and a celestial man.
Speaker B:Baby.
Speaker B:Let's do this.
Speaker B:Welcome to this week's episode of Devil's Trap podcast.
Speaker B:I'm Diana.
Speaker A:I'm Liz.
Speaker B:And we're going to talk about season 12, episode 23, all along the Watchtower Tower.
Speaker A:We are.
Speaker A:That was a song by some bands.
Speaker A:A bunch of different bands played it.
Speaker B:A bunch.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:Most.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker B:What have you been up to?
Speaker A:I'm not going to talk about app.
Speaker A:So app we.
Speaker A:Oh, no, I was say.
Speaker A:I don't know.
Speaker A:I don't.
Speaker A:There's.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:I was just going to say.
Speaker A:No, no.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:I'm just skipping that.
Speaker A:Well, I'll cut that out, the video part, so the audio, it'll still be in there.
Speaker A:But anyways, I'm not having fun because the band I was gonna go see play tonight canceled because the singer was having emotional issues or something.
Speaker A:I don't know.
Speaker A:I'm bummed that I had a night planned, planned out and I didn't get to go.
Speaker A:And my friend was like, you should have an adventure.
Speaker A:And I'm like, I am 48 years old.
Speaker A:I don't want an adventure.
Speaker A:I want a planned night where I know exactly what time something is going to be going on and what time it's going to end.
Speaker A:I want to have that planned a couple of months in advance, which I did.
Speaker A:And because I have to plan a few months in advance.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:So instead I went up, going to Austin last night instead of tonight and then got bummed out because one of the bars that I hang out there is now being turned into a quote unquote dive bar.
Speaker A:Like, that's actually in the name of the title.
Speaker A:And I don't think you can just name.
Speaker A:Call yourself a dive bar.
Speaker A:Like, I think you just are a dive bar.
Speaker B:Or you're not.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:Or you're like about, like actual diving.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:Like, it's gonna be like.
Speaker B:Like a pool.
Speaker A:Like a pool.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:Then you could be a dive bar.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:But I don't think you could just get to call yourself one.
Speaker B:That's odd.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:Some of us grumpy and old and just like, they're ruining things.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:All these youngins, like, are just ruining my fun.
Speaker A:So that's what I've been up to.
Speaker B:Fun.
Speaker B:Oh, we.
Speaker B:What have I been up to that's fun?
Speaker B:I went to.
Speaker B:We went to A new park in Dallas.
Speaker B:They built a deck park over the highway by the zoo called Halpern Park.
Speaker B:And it's kind of, it's very pretty, but we don't have small children to run around the playground in the water, so we didn't stay long.
Speaker B:And what else?
Speaker B:We've just been doing a lot of stuff around the house.
Speaker B:I feel like, you know, had celebrated my niece's birthday.
Speaker B:I don't know.
Speaker B:Chill.
Speaker B:It's actually been like I had a chaotic ass week.
Speaker B:So now everything's kind of chill.
Speaker B:And I'll take it.
Speaker B:Yeah, I will take it.
Speaker B:But yeah, we're gonna dive on in.
Speaker A:We're gonna dive in.
Speaker B:Speaking of diving in.
Speaker A:Speaking of diving in.
Speaker A:Yeah, there's no SBN news at this point.
Speaker A:Everything is just kind of chill and low key.
Speaker A:All right, so this one, though, is not chilling.
Speaker A:Low key.
Speaker A:All along the Watchtower.
Speaker A:This was episode 20, season 12, the season finale.
Speaker A: ,: Speaker A:And this season he did episode three, the Foundry and First Blood.
Speaker A:And this was of course written by Andrew Dab, who did our season opener, Keep Calm and Carry on, as well as First Blood with Robert Singer.
Speaker A:So we do have the season 12 recap to Wayward Son.
Speaker A:And I'm going to skip recounting it because I feel like it gives Diana too many hints for, for the quiz.
Speaker A:What?
Speaker B:It's just cheating.
Speaker A:You know, you could have watched that.
Speaker A:It'd be a pretty good review.
Speaker B:It was.
Speaker B:It was a good review of the season.
Speaker A:It was a good review of the season.
Speaker A:And I'm glad, you know, Netflix would have just skipped it.
Speaker A:So at least on, I don't know what, what streaming platform you're watching it on.
Speaker A:I'm watching it on Peacock and they, and they kept it in there, I think.
Speaker B:Yeah, that's the main place to watch it.
Speaker B:But yeah.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:So we open with.
Speaker B:We see blue sky, skies and mountains and a lake.
Speaker B:And it's very pretty.
Speaker A:It is a very pretty lake.
Speaker B:And we figure out that Castiel has a little house, that he has Kelly pregnant, Kelly in there on this water front location.
Speaker B:And we see Kelly cuts Kelly inside and she prays for God to help her.
Speaker B:And we're like, oh my gosh, she's praying.
Speaker B:No, she's frustrated because she's on the phone with customer support for what is implies the Ikea.
Speaker B:It's hilarious.
Speaker A:It is.
Speaker A:It's a very, is a very nice break of humor that was in there.
Speaker A:And then Cass comes in and he offers to put it together.
Speaker A:And then she gives this list of all the things that she's not going to be able to do after she dies.
Speaker A:But at least the thing she can do is build this stupid crib.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:But Cass does point out that he's very good at following instructions, which I found funny.
Speaker B:So he promises that he'll do everything to give her son the life that you know, and raise him to be someone that she'd be proud of.
Speaker A:But, well, so it's sweet.
Speaker A:But he also promises in there that I will give my life for him and then I'll raise him.
Speaker A:And I'm like, well, it's kind of hard to do if you're dead.
Speaker A:I'm just saying.
Speaker A:Which is, you know, and partially, you know, that is a foreshadowing of things that are happening in this episode.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:So you think about it now.
Speaker A:Now, but you've just seen the whole thing.
Speaker B:So.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:So we got from that to the bunker where Sam has shared what Dr. Cunt has told him.
Speaker B:Yeah, Sam, D and Mary are sitting there and discussing that they beat the Brits, but they can't pop the champs because now Lucifer is out there because of Crowley.
Speaker B:So.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:And that's how he's in his old vessel.
Speaker A:But Crowley is also dead.
Speaker A:Or is he?
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:Dean straight up guesses that he probably jumped the body.
Speaker B:And so.
Speaker B:And we get a.
Speaker B:Our recap, like our flashback.
Speaker B:And we had seen previously, so we guessed.
Speaker B:I'd even guessed as not knowing what was happening.
Speaker B:But there was a rat by Crowley when he died.
Speaker B:So obviously he.
Speaker B:But he jumped.
Speaker B:He smoked out into the rat.
Speaker B:And then.
Speaker B:So we see him get killed again.
Speaker B:But the rat goes to the woods and then we see the smoke out and Crowley crawl out of the ground,.
Speaker A:Rising from the grave, rising.
Speaker B:And they're like, well, do we need crowd?
Speaker B:We need.
Speaker B:You know.
Speaker B:Sam points out that we don't really need Crowley's help anyways, whether he's alive or dead.
Speaker B:They need Rowena because that's who can help put Lucifer back in his cage.
Speaker B:So he calls her.
Speaker A:And there's a phone ringing and there's a bloody mess and there's someone holding a lock of gorgeous red curly hair.
Speaker B:And they answer the phone.
Speaker B:It's Lucifer.
Speaker B:So that's not good.
Speaker B:And he shares that he stomped on her face till the light meat showed and then set her on fire just in case.
Speaker B:Yikes.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:So that is what he did to Rowena.
Speaker A:And he's also kind of going through her Stuff.
Speaker A:And he pulls a voodoo doll out of a bag, which I was just adorable.
Speaker A:And I really want that voodoo doll.
Speaker A:It really was a cute one.
Speaker A:And he wants to know, though, where Cass is.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:Because she was messy and screamy.
Speaker B:But he can't be a dad from a jail cell, so he needs to find them.
Speaker B:But he's like.
Speaker B:He's like, by the way, I also know you were gonna do whatever you.
Speaker B:Whatever you.
Speaker B:You're gonna do, but you can't kill me, so.
Speaker B:And with which gone quote, you can't put me back in a cage.
Speaker B:So whatever you.
Speaker B:Doesn't matter.
Speaker B:You don't matter is what he tells them.
Speaker A:So he's very, very cocky.
Speaker B:And.
Speaker A:And he's walking out and we see this burned up body on the floor.
Speaker A:This tiny, tiny little burnt up body.
Speaker A:So sad.
Speaker A:And we go from there back to the lake house where Cass and Kelly have arrived in the truck because they have gone shopping.
Speaker A:And Cass was just making a scene because he bought all the diapers in the store.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:And she's like, they looked at.
Speaker B:Like we were.
Speaker A:They looked at.
Speaker B:I just.
Speaker B:Like we were weird.
Speaker B:And Cass says, you get used to it.
Speaker B:I thought that was funny because we also.
Speaker B:There's been so much of him being awkward.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:And so he has read 74 books on child reading.
Speaker A:And the one running thread through them is pooping.
Speaker A:So that is why he's bought all the diapers.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:So they start to unload, but she winces like she is having a contraction, perhaps.
Speaker B:And as she touches the bed of the truck, we see a little bit of gold light, smoky stuff come out of the end of it.
Speaker B:And he helps her in the house in that wisp of gold light, I don't know what you want to call it.
Speaker B:Floats away.
Speaker A:I'm sure that's fine.
Speaker B:Sure it's fine.
Speaker A:So that happens.
Speaker A:And we go back to the bunker where Sam thinks maybe they should just take Cass and Kelly and put them on the move.
Speaker A:But he still wants to siphon off the baby's grace.
Speaker A:And Mary just is like on.
Speaker A:Kind of on board with this because she always wanted to punch the devil in the face.
Speaker B:And while that's happening, we keep getting flashes back to the house in where Castiel and Kelly are.
Speaker B:And we see that she's in the nursery.
Speaker B:Cassio goes outside and Sam's like, well, we need to be researching, like, what, you know, some strange signs.
Speaker B:Because whenever.
Speaker B:And apparently from my research, whenever a Nephilim's being born, there's going to be weird that happens like storms, diseases, whatever.
Speaker B:Locusts.
Speaker B:Biblical.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:Things get weird.
Speaker A:And so when things get really weird, we cut back to that lake house where the golden thread, or whatever rift we want to call it, has become a flaming line.
Speaker A:And Cass touches it, because you would have to.
Speaker A:And the world then goes all gray and stormy.
Speaker A:And then there's a thing that's kind of like a demon, but not like any demon we've ever seen before.
Speaker A:Starts to attack Cass and it's shot by.
Speaker B:We don't know, by somebody.
Speaker B:Somebody that's wrapped up in a lot of stuff.
Speaker B:Shoots it.
Speaker A:A lot of stuff.
Speaker A:We can't tell who it is, but Cass knows who it is.
Speaker A:He just goes, you.
Speaker A:So we know Cass recognizes them.
Speaker A:And we got from there back to the lake house.
Speaker B:And Kelly has put a thumb drive into her tablet to make a very sad, sweet video for her future son, Jack.
Speaker B:And she knows he'll be amazing because he's got an angel watching over him and she loves him so much.
Speaker B:And then she starts having more contractions and the lion thing outside is flashing as she does.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker B:So.
Speaker B:So obviously connected.
Speaker A:Obviously connected.
Speaker A:And in the bunker, you know, they're looking for things and they're like, found a two headed cow that was born.
Speaker A:That's not the type of weird they need.
Speaker A:Need.
Speaker A:What they need is something big and bad.
Speaker A:And poof, here is Crowley.
Speaker B:Surprise.
Speaker B:And immediately Dean punches him and puts a blade to his neck.
Speaker A:He does.
Speaker A:And Crowley asks Moose for help.
Speaker A:Who obliges?
Speaker A:And everyone's like, seriously?
Speaker A:And Sam's just like, look, we just can't kill him because maybe he can help.
Speaker A:And he worked the cage spell with Rowena, and if he can't help, then we kill him.
Speaker B:And so Dean relents.
Speaker B:He's like, okay, fine, fine.
Speaker B:And they're the ones that have to tell him that his mom is dead.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:Oh, sad.
Speaker B:And.
Speaker B:But Sam really wants to know from Crowley why he let Lucifer out.
Speaker B:And.
Speaker B:And Crowley is like a little bit like.
Speaker B:Crowley is pretty honest here.
Speaker B:He wanted to win.
Speaker B:He, you know, he perverted the spell so that Lucifer wouldn't go back into the cage.
Speaker B:He would go back into a vessel that Crowley made specifically, specifically for him.
Speaker B:Because his role has been threatened.
Speaker B:You know, his throne's been threatened so many times, he thought he should put the devil on a leash.
Speaker B:And he could either use that as proof of his power and.
Speaker B:Or to.
Speaker B:As a weapon against people that threatened him.
Speaker B:That was his intention.
Speaker B:So.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:But then he shares that he escaped by hiding in a Rat.
Speaker B:And it gave him time to think.
Speaker B:And he realized in all that time thinking about his job, that he hates his job with whining demons, moaning and paperwork.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:The endless moaning of damn souls.
Speaker A:All the damn souls.
Speaker B:So much moaning.
Speaker B:And.
Speaker A:But he is there because he knows whenever there is a world ending crisis where you place your bets is on the Winchesters.
Speaker A:Those big beautiful, lumbering piles of flannel.
Speaker A:And he is come there also to make a deal.
Speaker A:And he has said that he.
Speaker A:What he'll do is they'll put Lucifer back in the cage, and then he's gonna seal the gates of hell.
Speaker A:So there's demons.
Speaker A:That's pretty stab.
Speaker A:Yeah, they all stabbed him in the back.
Speaker A:So he's like them.
Speaker A:We'll.
Speaker A:We'll.
Speaker A:I'll stab them right back up their asses.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:Damn.
Speaker B:That's pretty wild.
Speaker B:So back at the lake house, Kelly is trying to find Castiel.
Speaker B:And she's really out of breath.
Speaker B:So she's definitely going in labor here.
Speaker B:In labor here.
Speaker B:And we get a jump scare when Cass is suddenly back and she asks where he was and he lies.
Speaker B:And then she's like, I think it's.
Speaker B:You know, I think it's.
Speaker B:I think it's the baby.
Speaker A:It's baby time.
Speaker B:And the lights are flickering.
Speaker A:Yep.
Speaker A:And then how she has another contraction.
Speaker A:The thing gets outside is getting bigger and brighter.
Speaker A:Yep.
Speaker A:But then we go back to the bunker where everyone is typing on laptops and tablets except for Crowley.
Speaker B:And he makes fun of them.
Speaker B:He's like, this is.
Speaker B:This is what you do.
Speaker B:But Sam's like, yeah.
Speaker B:Sam's like, no, look, we've got to find something.
Speaker B:Was a house rental was tracked to a James Novak.
Speaker A:So now they know somehow they have found in a newspaper online that a massive outage went all the way back to the house.
Speaker A:And who rented the house?
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:Very thorough for that article.
Speaker B:And very quick.
Speaker B:And very quick, too.
Speaker B:Right?
Speaker B:I mean, like the power was on seconds before from what we're watching.
Speaker B:And now there's a power outage.
Speaker B:And there's a newspaper report reporting the source of the power outage.
Speaker B:Pretty.
Speaker B:Pretty impressive.
Speaker B:So there we go.
Speaker B:And so Sam, Dean and Mary are going to roll out.
Speaker B:And Dean's like, no, Castiel or no Crowley, you're not coming with us.
Speaker B:And puts a demon blade through Crowley's hand into the table to try to trap him there.
Speaker A:Yeah, he thinks that'll work.
Speaker A:I don't know why.
Speaker A:And so they do that and they.
Speaker A:Then we cut back to the lake house where Kelly is in bed.
Speaker A:And this seems to, like a gross place at birth.
Speaker A:A nephilim.
Speaker A:That mattress is going to be ruined.
Speaker A:I mean, go on the floor or something.
Speaker B:It's gonna be ruined anyways because she's supposed to die.
Speaker B:It's very gross.
Speaker A:Yeah, there's gonna be a corpse on it.
Speaker A:Like, really, like, there's just.
Speaker A:You just know you're just ruining this whole, like, bed.
Speaker B:The bed's going to the trash after this.
Speaker A:The bed is going into the trash, so.
Speaker A:But Cass didn't think about that when he took a doula class online.
Speaker A:And he learned for the first time, you know, that a mom's a first time mom's labor can be, like, 12 to 18 hours.
Speaker A:Cass was not teaching anything about birthing celestial beings.
Speaker B:I do like that.
Speaker B:He calls the contractions pressure waves.
Speaker A:They are pressure waves.
Speaker A:And I do call them that for a lot of the rest of this.
Speaker A:So Callie thanks Cass for everything.
Speaker A:And outside, the rift is growing larger.
Speaker A:And she has another pressure wave.
Speaker A:And she just wants to know what Cass saw.
Speaker A:And he says he saw the future.
Speaker A:A world without pain or war or hunger or want.
Speaker A:And it was a world her child will create.
Speaker A:Or a world without fear or suffering or hate.
Speaker A:It was paradise.
Speaker A:And that sounds terrifying.
Speaker A:What the.
Speaker A:Are you seeing, Cassiel?
Speaker A:Because I don't think that's.
Speaker A:That sounds culty.
Speaker A:And it sounds like someone is.
Speaker A:Is with you.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:Because that also sounds like a world without people.
Speaker B:It does.
Speaker B:So Kelly smiles and nods, and she's, you know, crying.
Speaker B:And then all of a sudden, the power comes back on.
Speaker B:And the Winchesters arrive.
Speaker B:And so Cass has an Angel Blade.
Speaker B:And they're like.
Speaker B:They come in.
Speaker B:They're like, is this house warded enough to stop Lucifer?
Speaker B:He could be right behind us.
Speaker B:And Cass is like, wtf?
Speaker B:And they're like, you know, you.
Speaker B:You.
Speaker B:We can't let loose, forget this baby, no matter what.
Speaker B:And he's like, well, Kelly can't move.
Speaker B:And we hear her moaning into the room.
Speaker B:So Mary runs to her, which makes sense.
Speaker B:And Dean's like, well, if, you know, can you, like, can you flame on, Lucy?
Speaker B:Can you torch Lucifer?
Speaker B:Well, and like you did with Dagon.
Speaker B:And he's like, cast is like, no, that wasn't me.
Speaker B:That was the baby.
Speaker A:Sorry, he's a little busy being born.
Speaker A:But I can do this for you.
Speaker A:And I can heal you.
Speaker A:So Cass heals Dean.
Speaker B:Yeah, because his leg was still up.
Speaker B:He was limping a little bit.
Speaker B:And so they go outside.
Speaker B:Sam and Cass outside.
Speaker B:And Sam, Dean Are like, what the.
Speaker B:Is that light thing over there?
Speaker B:Yep.
Speaker A:And he's like, nope, it's a doorway to another world.
Speaker A:It's an alternate reality.
Speaker A:Bizarro world.
Speaker A:At the time they were in the world or supernatural wasn't real.
Speaker A:And Sam was Polish.
Speaker B:And Castell's like, what?
Speaker B:It's pretty funny.
Speaker B:Good reference.
Speaker B:But he's like, no.
Speaker B:The child being born's power is puncturing the fabric of the universe, but you don't want to know what's on the other side.
Speaker B:And Dean's like, probably not, but we need to.
Speaker A:Do you.
Speaker A:Do you really need to know this?
Speaker A:If someone tells you there is an Apocalypse Land on the other side of this line, do you need to go through?
Speaker B:I say, no, I don't understand why you need to.
Speaker A:Nope, you're fine.
Speaker A:Anyway, so they decided to go through, and they go to Apocalypse Land.
Speaker A:And what we figure out is like, this is a war between heaven and hell.
Speaker A:And there are just a few humans who are left, and they're just kind of in the middle of it.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:And so, yeah, this is the unalternate universe or alternate world where this.
Speaker B:This is what happens.
Speaker B:And they're like, how do you know this?
Speaker B:He's like, a friend told me.
Speaker B:And there.
Speaker B:So it's the question I like.
Speaker B:The question is on it.
Speaker B:On a scale of 1 to 10, how bad is it?
Speaker B:11.
Speaker B:So Cassiel is like, no, no.
Speaker B:But the faith that.
Speaker B:I have faith that the child will close this rift.
Speaker B:And Dean calls him a dumbass for his faith in an unborn baby God.
Speaker B:He is.
Speaker A:You.
Speaker A:Has really bought into his unborn baby deity here.
Speaker A:But here comes someone with a bunch of guns.
Speaker A:And again ahead, wrapped up in a scarf.
Speaker A:And the boys all pull their guns.
Speaker A:And they take off the scarf to reveal Bobby.
Speaker A:Oh, my God.
Speaker A:It's Bobby.
Speaker A:And he is in a jaunty beret.
Speaker B:Yes, but it's not their Bobby.
Speaker B:That's the difference.
Speaker B:It's Bobby.
Speaker B:But he doesn't know them.
Speaker B:Because they don't exist in his timeline.
Speaker B:Because they find out that the only way this guy knows who John Winchester is is from hearing stories about him before he died.
Speaker B:He's been dead for 40 years.
Speaker B:And he heard stories about him from Mary Campbell after she had too much moonshine and talked about how Azazel killed John.
Speaker A:No, Azazel killed her about 10 years ago.
Speaker A:She would.
Speaker A:Yeah, she would get drunk and talk about John.
Speaker A:And then Azazel kills her.
Speaker A:In this.
Speaker A:In this land.
Speaker A:But again, this is just a world without Sam and Dean Winchester is a big gist of that scene.
Speaker A:And we go from there back to the lake house where current Mary is telling Kelly that it's almost time.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:Because less than five minutes between pressure waves.
Speaker B:And they both know that Kelly is dying.
Speaker B:And Kelly asks.
Speaker B:Oh, she said it's okay.
Speaker B:And says, wouldn't you die for your sons?
Speaker B:And Mary says, yeah.
Speaker B:Yep.
Speaker A:And then we go back to Apocalypse Land, where we learned that the rift going off set off alarms at Bobby's place.
Speaker A:And so he got there to see Cass getting jumped by what we learned is a tempter demon.
Speaker A:And demons have horns now.
Speaker A:And he thought that Cassiel looked different for.
Speaker A:Than the other flyboys because for one thing, he wasn't wearing a necklace of baby ears.
Speaker B:So that's what the angels wear in this Apocalypse World.
Speaker A:What?
Speaker A:In Apocalypse World, angels are just wearing necklaces of baby ears.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:And apparently, apparently this Bobby's hobby and passion is killing angels, because they are.
Speaker B:He also refers to them as the dicks upstairs and refers to his rifle as Rufus.
Speaker A:Oh, and he has loaded the rounds with old angel blades and made.
Speaker A:So they've made angel killing bullets.
Speaker B:That's wild.
Speaker A:And smart.
Speaker A:Because if you can make witch killing bullets, why can't you make angel killing bullets?
Speaker A:So you've got to have a lot of angel blades.
Speaker B:That's true.
Speaker B:That's true.
Speaker B:That's true.
Speaker B:So back we.
Speaker B:We see Kelly's continuing in her labor.
Speaker B:Sam, Dean and Castiel go back to their world, their timeline, whatever you want to call it.
Speaker B:Their.
Speaker B:Their reality.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:They come back to the.
Speaker A:To reality.
Speaker A:And Dean is overwhelmed.
Speaker A:And then Crowley just shows up, who is just the answer to all of your problems.
Speaker A:Cass goes into Kelly's room and Mary leaves.
Speaker A:Then they go back downstairs where they're fine.
Speaker A:They're reloading guns like your guns weren't loaded before.
Speaker A:I don't understand that.
Speaker B:And hanging out in the bunker.
Speaker B:Bunker?
Speaker B:Why were your spies?
Speaker B:Was your not ready?
Speaker A:Well, these were an apocalypse land.
Speaker A:You pulled your gun out, I guess.
Speaker A:Like, maybe they're just rechecking.
Speaker A:I don't know.
Speaker A:So Dean hopes Cass is right about his faith in like, this baby God.
Speaker A:But he has faith in them, which is sweet.
Speaker B:It is sweet.
Speaker B:And so Castiel is telling Kelly that it's gonna be fine.
Speaker B:And he kisses her on the forehead and says.
Speaker B:Tells her to remember paradise.
Speaker A:And outside, Lucifer has arrived.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:Sam tries saying that Chuck God will stop him like he did.
Speaker A:Like he did last time.
Speaker A:But Chuck God is nowhere to be found.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:And Lucifer is just really talking.
Speaker B:A lot of that's really like his.
Speaker B:His shtick right now.
Speaker B:I mean, he's always been a talker, but feels like extra right now.
Speaker A:It is because he could be popping people.
Speaker A:Like he could have popped them already.
Speaker A:But he just wants to have his monologue.
Speaker A:And so he wants Apocalypse Take 2 because it's a classic and he wants to do it.
Speaker A:So they're gonna fight and Lucifer just flings Cass and Sam and Dean run off.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:And Lucifer follows them and they go.
Speaker B:And he wants, you know, he.
Speaker B:He's just talking about how he's gonna rip them apart, blah, blah, blah.
Speaker B:But he can't because the baby's coming.
Speaker B:And so he sees Sam and Dean at the light rip line thing and he.
Speaker B:They touch.
Speaker B:So Sam and Dean touch it and they go through the other world.
Speaker B:So Lucifer follows them, obviously.
Speaker B:And he gets there, he looks around and says, nice.
Speaker A:He is a fan of Apocalypse Land.
Speaker A:And Dean has now has gotten a hold of Rufus and he wants to see if those bullets work against an archangel.
Speaker A:And he shoots him up.
Speaker A:While Sam runs to Crowley, who is doing a spell.
Speaker B:Yes.
Speaker A:And unfortunately, Dean did not have enough bullets in there.
Speaker A:And he runs out of them.
Speaker A:And Crowley explains.
Speaker B:Shoots a lot of bullets at him.
Speaker A:He does shoot a lot of bullets at him.
Speaker A:And Crowley explains what this plan is.
Speaker A:And the plan is to.
Speaker A:To seal Lucifer in the world.
Speaker A:And the spell, of course, requires some fine artisanal holy oil in a jug.
Speaker B:Of course it does.
Speaker B:They all do, don't they?
Speaker A:I think so.
Speaker B:But.
Speaker B:So Lucifer goes up to Dean and just hits him with the rifle.
Speaker B:And then we just have a fight.
Speaker B:But really it's just Lucifer beating the shit out of Dean.
Speaker B:That's just really what's happening.
Speaker B:Yeah, it's uncomfortable.
Speaker B:But apparently Crowley needs one more ingredient.
Speaker B:And Sam's like, what the fuck?
Speaker B:It's a little late.
Speaker B:So Crowley jumps into the fray and he flings Lucifer briefly while Sam and Dean run to the rift.
Speaker B:They're going to try to go back.
Speaker B:And Crowley is going to give his little speech of how Lucifer humiliated him and he hates him.
Speaker B:And he's going to wipe the self satisfied smile off his face.
Speaker B:And Lucifer is like, whatever, you're going to lose.
Speaker B:And Crowley's like, sure.
Speaker B:And he looks over his shoulder, it says, bye boys.
Speaker B:And he stabs himself.
Speaker A:Sure does.
Speaker A:He sacrifices himself on an angel blade.
Speaker A:And the bull catches on fire.
Speaker B:And.
Speaker A:But then, like, to ruin everything.
Speaker A:Cass comes through and they're like, that was not part of the plan.
Speaker A:And so Cass comes through and Sam says Cass.
Speaker A:But he.
Speaker A:So he goes.
Speaker A:He's followed by.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker B:Anyways, so Sam and Dean go back.
Speaker B:And now I jumped in my thing.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:So the bull catches on fire.
Speaker A:Cass comes through.
Speaker A:The boys jump out.
Speaker B:Yes.
Speaker B:And because they know it's about to close.
Speaker B:And so we see Kelly back pushing and do we see a big explosion?
Speaker B:And Mary falls to the floor.
Speaker B:Because that's quite a birth.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:A golden light coming out of her vagina just knocks Mary out.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:That's wild.
Speaker B:And then we see Cassiel pop back through the rift back to the reality world.
Speaker B:And then Lucifer stabs him from behind.
Speaker A:And he kills Cass.
Speaker A:No.
Speaker A:So angel death glow.
Speaker B:It's awful.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:So now Crowley's dead.
Speaker A:Cass is dead.
Speaker B:What the.
Speaker B:What the.
Speaker B:And Lucifer's just like.
Speaker B:That was fun.
Speaker B:Oh.
Speaker B:But here comes Mary.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:And she wants.
Speaker A:He wants him to get away from them.
Speaker A:And he is like.
Speaker A:You're just living up to the hype.
Speaker A:And he gets all purring.
Speaker B:But she has on her fancy spelled British Men of Letters brass knuckles, which is kind of cool.
Speaker B:And she tells Salmon that she loves them.
Speaker B:And she just starts punching Lucifer in the face a bunch of a lot.
Speaker A:And he falls.
Speaker A:And then he pulls her through the rift.
Speaker B:So they both go through and then the rift closes and disappears.
Speaker A:And Lucifer doesn't know then on the person side.
Speaker A:That's just what I called it.
Speaker A:There.
Speaker A:The boys are also.
Speaker A:No, no, no, no, no.
Speaker A:But that they can see the house is glowing.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:Because now Cass is.
Speaker B:So Castiel's dead on the ground.
Speaker B:Dean falls to his knees by Castiel and looks up at the sky.
Speaker B:Sam goes inside to investigate what's happening inside the house because of the flickering lights.
Speaker B:And he finds dead Kelly quite peaceful laying in the bed.
Speaker B:And not messy, surprisingly.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:She was in a white nightgown, so of course she died.
Speaker A:And there is like no like Nephilim after birth or anything.
Speaker A:Like no corpse blood.
Speaker A:So maybe you didn't ruin the mattress, but I still think you would have of, you know.
Speaker B:And he follows these burnt like foot footprints in the wood floor.
Speaker B:Gosh, that'd be so hard to get fixed.
Speaker B:You have to have the whole house refinished.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:You just have to get rid of those floors.
Speaker B:It's terrible.
Speaker B:And he follows them to the nursery.
Speaker B:And there's somebody sitting in the corner.
Speaker B:And they open their eyes and they glow yellow.
Speaker B:And it's Y person.
Speaker B:Not like a.
Speaker A:That's not a baby.
Speaker A:I don't think we're gonna need all those diapers?
Speaker B:Probably not.
Speaker B:And that's our episode.
Speaker B:That's our season.
Speaker B:What the.
Speaker A:And that's how the season ends.
Speaker A:All right, so we'll get back to talking about how that is, but at first, it's time for season 12 trivia.
Speaker A:Because it always.
Speaker A:That's what happens at the end of this episode.
Speaker A:Very excited about this.
Speaker A:All right, so are you ready?
Speaker B:No.
Speaker B:Go for it.
Speaker B:Okay.
Speaker A:All right.
Speaker A:In episode one of this season, Mary tells Dean her meet cute with John Winchester.
Speaker A:When they met, why did she give him her phone number?
Speaker A:Was it because, A, they had both just seen Slaughterhouse 5?
Speaker A:B, she thinks the Impala is really hot, C, he knew the words to every Zeppelin song, or D, she thought he was a demon?
Speaker B:I'm gonna be wrong.
Speaker B:I'm gonna go with.
Speaker B:I'm gonna go with B. Nope.
Speaker A:It was the words.
Speaker A:Every Zeppelin song.
Speaker B:I almost said that.
Speaker B:I was like, it's C. I know it's C, damn it.
Speaker B:Okay, okay.
Speaker B:Go with the first instinct, Diana.
Speaker B:You know better.
Speaker A:Don't overthink it.
Speaker A:Don't overthink it.
Speaker A:All right, second question.
Speaker A:Which of these four songs were not a title to an episode this year?
Speaker A:A, American Nightmare, B, take them all.
Speaker A:C, stuck in the middle with you, or D, somewhere between heaven and hell, Take them all.
Speaker A:That is correct.
Speaker A:That is a song by Cockspire.
Speaker A:Which was not.
Speaker A:Not in this.
Speaker A:Which would have been great.
Speaker A:All right, question number three.
Speaker A:In episode five, the one you've been waiting for, who does?
Speaker A:Dean.
Speaker B:Oh, gosh.
Speaker B:And is that when he killed the Alpha?
Speaker B:No, no, that was Sam.
Speaker B:That's not it.
Speaker A:Yeah, I didn't give you multiple choice in this one.
Speaker B:So the.
Speaker A:The one you've been waiting for.
Speaker B:Dang it.
Speaker A:And I will say, then Dean goes around telling everybody that he killed this person.
Speaker B:Oh, is that when he.
Speaker B:He killed Hitler?
Speaker A:He killed Hitler.
Speaker A:That's right.
Speaker B:I should know better.
Speaker A:All right, number four.
Speaker A:Which of these hunters survived season 12, episode six, celebrating the life of Asa Fox?
Speaker A:A, Elvis Katz.
Speaker A:B, Asa Fox.
Speaker A:C, Bucky Sims, or D, Randy Bull.
Speaker B:Randy.
Speaker A:Nope.
Speaker A:Bucky Sims is the one who lived.
Speaker A:Okay, Randy Bull.
Speaker A:Because I. I.
Speaker A:His name was Randy Bowl.
Speaker B:That's why not.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:Okay, question number five.
Speaker A:In season 12, Lucifer possessed the rock star Vince Vincente.
Speaker A:Which actual rock star played him?
Speaker A:Multiple choice, if you need it.
Speaker B:I know it.
Speaker B:Yeah, do it.
Speaker B:All right.
Speaker A:My multiple choice is funny.
Speaker A:All right, so was it Libby Kilmeister, Jon Bon Jovi, Rick Springfield, or Huey Lew?
Speaker B:It was Rick.
Speaker B:Rick Springfield.
Speaker A:It was Rick Springfield.
Speaker B:Yes.
Speaker A:All right, in number six, question number six, in episode 11, Rowena uses post it notes memento style for Dean's memory loss.
Speaker A:What does the post it on the grenade launcher say?
Speaker A:Does it say no?
Speaker A:Or does it say yes, no, or just wait until later this season?
Speaker B:Well, he should have just said wait till later this season if she was that good of a witch.
Speaker B:But yeah, yeah, you said yes.
Speaker A:All right, number seven, in episode 12, stuck in the middle with you, what does Mary steal?
Speaker B:She steals the.
Speaker B:The cold.
Speaker A:That's correct.
Speaker A:Question 8, we learned this season that the British Men of Letters have a school where they train children to kill each other.
Speaker A:What is its name?
Speaker B:Oh, I have no idea.
Speaker A:Is it A, Hedwig's Academy, B, Kendrick's Academy, C, Monster High, or G, Hogwarts?
Speaker B:It was Kendrick's Academy.
Speaker A:It is Kendrick's Academy.
Speaker A:All right, number nine, a town in Wisconsin is traumatized by the Bishops wearing a very smelly goat head.
Speaker A:What does Pete say their family motto is?
Speaker A:Is it A hunting people, killing them, the family business.
Speaker A:Be killing people, eating them, the family business.
Speaker A:Scaring people, hurting them, the family business or saving goats?
Speaker A:Hunting people, the family business.
Speaker B:Sorry.
Speaker B:Distract me.
Speaker A:You know, it was not saving goats.
Speaker A:No, you got it right.
Speaker A:It was the first one.
Speaker A:It was hunting people, killing them, the family business.
Speaker B:Yes.
Speaker A:All right, and our last.
Speaker A:Our last question for this episode.
Speaker A:So and for the season, in episode 22 to the.
Speaker A:That's the first time a Winchester brother says what to another family member.
Speaker B:Is it I love you?
Speaker A:It is I love you.
Speaker A:They spread said emotion and yes.
Speaker A:And then they all hugged.
Speaker A:It was a moment.
Speaker A:They hugged.
Speaker B:It was.
Speaker B:They needed that.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:And that was our season 12 trivia.
Speaker B:Yay.
Speaker B:It was not my worst performance, though I had some help along the way.
Speaker A:I will say I went kind of easy on the questions this season, but it's really generous.
Speaker B:Thanks.
Speaker B:Appreciate it.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:So I guess we'll start off with episode wrap up.
Speaker A:So just thoughts on.
Speaker B:That was a lot.
Speaker B:Like, before we started recording, we were saying, like, a lot happens in this episode and like, the story is not like expansive, but a lot fucking happens.
Speaker B:There's a lot of death.
Speaker B:And I do like the gratuitous.
Speaker B:Just re intro of Bobby because, like, he don't know you, but here's Bobby just because.
Speaker A:Thanks.
Speaker A:Yeah, that's pretty exciting going.
Speaker A:All right.
Speaker A:So I mean, we're knowing.
Speaker A:I. I'm not spoiling.
Speaker A:It's pretty foreshadowing that we're not just bringing Bobby Singer back just to Never see him again?
Speaker B:No, I would assume not.
Speaker B:But I think that it was a. I think it was super shocking episode.
Speaker B:Like, I knew it was going to be shocking with whatever was going to happen with the baby.
Speaker B:Duh.
Speaker B:It was a little more weird than I thought, but.
Speaker B:Okay.
Speaker B:And then I think, like, the.
Speaker B:I mean, have losing Crowley and Castiel in the same episode is a lot.
Speaker A:It is a lot.
Speaker A:And there is, you know, the question always a question of final death.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker B:And.
Speaker A:And who comes back.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:And how and how.
Speaker A:And whether or not this is the final time we will see either of them.
Speaker A:And I almost.
Speaker A:Yeah, I will spoil it.
Speaker A:This is the last time you see Mark Shepard.
Speaker A:So this really is.
Speaker A:I'll spoil that.
Speaker B:Crowley's really dead.
Speaker A:The Crowley's.
Speaker A:Crowley is really dead because that way.
Speaker A:I mean.
Speaker A:Yeah, I guess I spoiled that.
Speaker A:But I mean, because you.
Speaker A:This.
Speaker A:You spit.
Speaker A:Like, you spit.
Speaker A:Wait until the last episode of the.
Speaker A:Of the show, waiting to see if he comes back kind of.
Speaker A:But he really did.
Speaker B:But he killed himself in Apocalypse World, so that's kind of a big deal.
Speaker B:But it was a.
Speaker B:That was a pretty big one.
Speaker B:But also, like, to be.
Speaker B:I mean, it's a series that's over and I've seen enough like teasers without watching the series to have an understanding that I probably gonna see Cassiel again.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:And.
Speaker A:But I also wanted to say that, you know, the.
Speaker A:I'm spoiling his death because I wanted to have.
Speaker A:It gives it more meaning.
Speaker A:Yeah, it really, you know, that he really did sacrifice himself.
Speaker A:It wasn't just.
Speaker A:It wasn't a.
Speaker A:It's not a Crowley double take where he has hitting himself in a rat.
Speaker A:He really did sacrifice himself in order to try and do good.
Speaker A:Even though it kind of failed.
Speaker A:He still.
Speaker A:He still did that sacrifice.
Speaker A:And I think that's really meaningful.
Speaker B:I agree.
Speaker B:I think so.
Speaker B:And I think that does make it, like, slightly more meaningful when there's not an out.
Speaker B:You know what I mean?
Speaker A:Yeah, there was.
Speaker A:It was.
Speaker A:You know, and it's kind of uncrowy to not have.
Speaker A:But that's a.
Speaker A:It's a real character change.
Speaker B:Right?
Speaker A:It's a real arc.
Speaker A:And I don't know what.
Speaker B:What.
Speaker A:We'll see what happens.
Speaker A:Like, what happens to.
Speaker A:What happens to Crowley and what happens to Cass when they die.
Speaker B:But that big.
Speaker B:So complicated.
Speaker A:That's pretty complicated.
Speaker B:But yeah, I think it was.
Speaker B:I think that was an interesting.
Speaker B:Because, you know, you always.
Speaker B:You do on this show, clearly, you always wonder.
Speaker B:It's like, are they really dead or Are they dead?
Speaker B:But coming back?
Speaker B:So I was wondering that for sure about both of these characters, but I.
Speaker A:Felt like too also died.
Speaker B:Dead, too.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:And Kelly.
Speaker B:I mean, we've got like, four.
Speaker A:And Kelly.
Speaker A:Yeah, she.
Speaker A:She counts, you know, she did.
Speaker B:She's a bit.
Speaker B:She's part.
Speaker B:A huge part of the season arc.
Speaker B:And so four.
Speaker B:Four characters dead in the finale is a lot.
Speaker B:And then Mary and Lucifer trapped in a apocalypse world does not bode well.
Speaker A:That does not bode well, but it does foreshadow for, you know, will next season involve an apocalypse world?
Speaker A:Could that possibly happen?
Speaker A:Will next season involve a giant man baby?
Speaker B:That's terrifying.
Speaker B:I don't know if I feel about a celestial man baby.
Speaker B:That's weird.
Speaker B:Yeah, that's what I've got.
Speaker B:That's weird.
Speaker B:I mean, I guess that's what they do.
Speaker B:Isn't that what they said earlier?
Speaker A:Things are getting weird.
Speaker A:Yeah, things are getting weird with your giant man baby.
Speaker B:Like, how did that.
Speaker B:Like, do we want to, like.
Speaker B:I don't want to think about how that birth occurred.
Speaker A:Well, that's why she shot that golden light out of vagina and knocked Mary out, because it was just like, poof.
Speaker A:Well, I think she dead, you know,.
Speaker B:She's birthed up a grown man.
Speaker A:She burst, like, how.
Speaker A:How.
Speaker A:Like, much of that was, like, inside her, you know.
Speaker B:Oh, no, no.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:I mean, there's no preparing that.
Speaker A:That's why sometimes you just gotta check.
Speaker B:Out the pressure waves.
Speaker B:Were real, man.
Speaker A:Those are real pressure waves.
Speaker B:Goodness.
Speaker B:Oh, man.
Speaker B:Well, so that.
Speaker B:So are we dovetailing into the season?
Speaker A:Yeah, so.
Speaker A:So this is season 12.
Speaker A:I mean, not a.
Speaker A:It's not a bummer season.
Speaker A:British.
Speaker A:I mean, it's British Men of Letters, they were awful.
Speaker A:Slash, Lucifer were like.
Speaker A:We had two big bads kind of running at the same time.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:We had parallel storylines going.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:The British Men of Letters were very frustrating as a.
Speaker B:As a big bad to me.
Speaker B:And I don't know how to express it, but I found them frustrating.
Speaker B:I'm trying to think of what.
Speaker B:Why exactly.
Speaker A:People and.
Speaker B:Well, they're people and they're awful.
Speaker B:Well, not because they're English, but there are people, but they were bad people.
Speaker B:And then Mick kind of was becoming a less bad person, but it.
Speaker B:Then he gets killed over it, and that sucked.
Speaker A:Well, even Lady Bevel, you know, at the end, is humanized.
Speaker A:And then she's still dead, so they're all dead.
Speaker A:So there's no chance of redemption for any of them.
Speaker B:So that's always upsetting.
Speaker B:When there's no redemption, there's no, like, coming around.
Speaker B:There's no.
Speaker B:And they all got killed by Sam and Jody and the rest of the hunters.
Speaker B:There's like.
Speaker B:They're all.
Speaker B:They are all dead.
Speaker B:And that's wild.
Speaker A:And they also.
Speaker A:They always kind of reminded me of the Council from Buffy.
Speaker A:Like, you know, it's the old British men let, you know, British Men of letters and the Watchers Council that are, you know, just old stodgy British dudes.
Speaker A:And surprisingly, they brought ladies in.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:They brought Dr. Hessen, which is, you know, hey, at least they did that.
Speaker A:It wasn't all.
Speaker A:All stodgy British.
Speaker A:And maybe, you know, she was a much more interesting.
Speaker A:I was much.
Speaker A:I would much rather see her than a stodgy British dude.
Speaker A:You know, that was, you know, even though, you know, she was kind of an umbrage character.
Speaker A:She was an awful character, but she was an interesting character.
Speaker B:I agree.
Speaker B:Agreed.
Speaker B:Very umbridgy, though I do appreciate that.
Speaker A:If Umbridge could actually throw a punch.
Speaker B:I like that.
Speaker B:If umbre could throw a punch.
Speaker B:Yeah, for sure.
Speaker B:Definitely her.
Speaker B:And then I think, like, the.
Speaker B:I'm gonna say the other, but I'm.
Speaker B:I'm not.
Speaker B:It's not against the season.
Speaker B:It's just.
Speaker B:I would find.
Speaker B:I found these.
Speaker B:The storylines more frustrating because it was so like Crowley.
Speaker B:I understand it was his ego that made him not put.
Speaker B:Lose her back in the cage, but he really brought this all on himself.
Speaker B:Like, it's very frustrating.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:And.
Speaker A:And at least though, I mean, he did have.
Speaker B:It's not just like, oh, Lucifer broke out of the cage.
Speaker B:Okay, then you've got like, okay, then.
Speaker A:There's not blame realization for a demon that this was all about his pride and how much he wanted to win.
Speaker A:And that at the end, you know, I really don't give a.
Speaker A:About my job, which is, you know, but something we just all come to at some point in our lives and just, you know, I just don't give a.
Speaker A:About my job.
Speaker A:Happens to us all.
Speaker B:That's.
Speaker A:It happened to me a number of times.
Speaker B:It has at other jobs.
Speaker B:Yes.
Speaker B:But.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:So I think, like, the.
Speaker B:I think I gave a.
Speaker B:About mine too much sometimes.
Speaker B:But that's okay.
Speaker A:But sometimes that can be a problem too.
Speaker A:And that's what crowd.
Speaker A:But that's also what Crowley was saying.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:That he was holding on so tight to this.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:And not realizing how much he wasn't even enjoying it anymore.
Speaker A:And, like, all that's left is a bunch of whiny demons and Moaning souls.
Speaker A:And who wants that all the time?
Speaker B:I thought he liked the paperwork, though.
Speaker A:If you can't.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:If you can't enjoy the morning souls, like, do you really even.
Speaker A:Like, do you want to be King of Hell anymore?
Speaker A:Do you want to be in Hell?
Speaker A:Isn't that.
Speaker A:Isn't that part of the joy?
Speaker B:I feel like that's part of the ambiance.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:Is it even Hell without the moaning souls?
Speaker A:I don't know, man.
Speaker A:And I.
Speaker A:Again, I also think the paperwork is part of it.
Speaker B:Right.
Speaker A:Bureaucracy is part of the Hell.
Speaker B:I love that.
Speaker B:That's part of his Hell.
Speaker A:Well, but he does imply that he has been king a lot longer than he has been.
Speaker B:That's interesting, too, because, like, this, really, it's only been, like, not that long that he's been in charge, but he makes it sound like he's been there for, like, you know, he's been charged.
Speaker A:Since Lucifer was in the cage.
Speaker B:Yeah, but he makes it sound like it's been, like, eons.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker B:It's not.
Speaker B:He was just.
Speaker A:Ever since he was a car.
Speaker A:He was.
Speaker A:Well, he was king of the crossroads.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:Loser.
Speaker A:Maybe, you know that's what he meant.
Speaker B:But maybe.
Speaker A:I don't know.
Speaker B:But, yeah, I think it was.
Speaker B:You know, it was two very distinct storylines that I liked how they did the very light interception intersection is what I meant to say of the two towards the end of the season where it's where, obviously, Crowley knew the Men of letters and Dr. Hess was working with her.
Speaker B:With.
Speaker B:With him some.
Speaker B:But that was an interesting tie over.
Speaker B:And then.
Speaker B:I don't know.
Speaker B:I think it's very.
Speaker B:It's intriguing to see what's going to happen with our Celestial man baby that none of us knew it was going to be because it's this first baby.
Speaker A:Lucifer's baby.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:And who's gonna raise Lucifer's giant man baby?
Speaker A:Oh, my gosh.
Speaker B:Because.
Speaker B:Because Cass is dead, Kelly's dead, Lucifer's in Apocalypse World.
Speaker A:Is it going to be three men and a celestial man baby?
Speaker B:I have a feeling it might be.
Speaker A:It might be.
Speaker A:All right.
Speaker A:Anything else to comment on that?
Speaker A:All right.
Speaker A:I think this is where we're going to end this season.
Speaker A:Well, we're going to take next week off as we usually do, to give ourselves a break, because this is.
Speaker A: We've been doing this since: Speaker A:That's crazy.
Speaker A:All right.
Speaker A:All right.
Speaker A:Well, thanks for.
Speaker A:You know, it's like, describe, you know, like, subscribe all the things.
Speaker A:Watch video on YouTube and on Spotify.
Speaker A:Maybe at some point on Apple, maybe.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker B:All right.
Speaker A:Well, cheers, church.
Speaker B:Cheers, bitch.
